It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of William Roy (Bill) Wilson of Anten Mills, age 89, on Thursday July 25th, 2024.
Survived by his children Gail Richardson (Robert Rubin), and Bruce Wilson (Stephanie). Devoted Papa to Ashley Richardson (Mitch Delenardo), Laura Schumacher (Matthew), Lindsey Milligan (Gord), Jake Wilson and Courtney Wilson. Cherished Great Papa to Spencer Delenardo, Caleb Milligan and Gavin Milligan. He was a loving and devoted husband to Marie (Harrop) Wilson from 1960 until her passing in 2006. He found love again later in life, marrying Shirley Hansen in October 2013-April 2024. He leaves behind a devoted family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bill was born April 15 1935 in Milton ON to Cecil and Helen Wilson, younger brother to Herb.
The family is forever grateful for all the kindness shown and care provided for Bill at Cedarville Lodge Long Term Care.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 30, 2024 from 5 pm-7pm and Wednesday July 31 2024 from 10 am-11 am.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 31 beginning 11 am at Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie ON.
