Barrie police are investigating after a backhoe valued at $200,000 was stolen from the northern city limits last Tuesday.
The backhoe is decribed as a Caterpillar 420.
It was stolen from the area of Penetanguishene Road and Georgian Drive on Tuesday, May 12 at around 3:20 a.m.
Police suspect a trailer would have been needed to haul away the heavy piece of machinery.
