SPRINGWATER TWP. — A Barrie resident faces impaired-driving charges following a traffic stop Wednesday morning.
Around 10:25 a.m. on Jan. 15, Huronia West OPP says an officer was doing general patrols in the area County Road 90 area when they were alerted to a possible speeder and conducted a traffic stop.
Tristan Battler Shaule, 35, of Barrie, has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired (alcohol and drugs) and operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus).
None of the allegations have been tested in court.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
