ESSA T0WNSHIP - On Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment, Ontario Provincial Police were called to the scene of a fire at a Commercial Business located on the 9th Line of Essa.
Essa Fire Service attended the scene and the fire was extinguished. Investigators at the scene determined that the cause of the fire was suspicious and the Ontario Fire Marshall's Office was contacted.
Investigators from the Fire Marshall's Office are continuing their investigation.
The Nottawasaga Detachment Crime Unit is appealing to the public if anyone has any information concerning this suspicious fire, to contact them at 705-434-1939, or Crime Stoppers here or call 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You could be eligible for a cash reward.
