Police say section between Flos Road 11 and Tiny/Flos Townline in Springwater Township will be shut down for 'significant length of time'

Update (4:15 p.m.): Police say there were two people in the vehicle.

The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. on July 3.

Crossland Road is expected to be closed for between six and eight hours, according to OPP.

Detours have been set up on Simcoe County Road 6 and Tiny Beaches Road South for northbound and southbound traffic.

Provincial police say a section of Crossland Road will be closed for a "significant length of time" following a serious single-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon. 

Southern Georgian Bay OPP say collision investigators have shut down Crossland Road between Flos Road 11 and Tiny/Flos Townline in Springwater Township. 

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area, west of Elmvale.
