ESSA TWP. — A driver is facing impaired charges following a single-vehicle crash southwest of Barrie on Tuesday.
At about 5 p.m., Nottawasaga OPP says officers were called to County Road 56, just north of 20th Sideroad, where a white four-door passenger vehicle was found in a ditch.
Elaina Martyn, 29, of Essa Township, has been charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs), operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus) and resisting a peace officer.
None of the allegations have been tested in court.
The accused has a Feb. 6 court date in Bradford.
