Credit card fraud suspect caught on surveillance video

Barrie Police Service is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male responsible for fraudulent transactions with stolen credit cards.

On Thursday, May 18, 2017 between the hours of 12 a.m. and 4 a.m. the victim’s car was entered where a pair of sunglasses and wallet were stolen. A credit card was then used for several transactions at a Mac’s Convenience and a Petro Canada store, both located in the City of Barrie.

The suspect, as seen in surveillance video obtained, is wearing a dark coloured Toronto Maple Leafs hooded sweatshirt while using the stolen credit card.
