Reports of a robbery at D.C. Taylor Jewellers in downtown Collingwood is the reason behind the area being cordoned off with police tape and officers on scene this evening (Dec. 4).
Reports came in to Collingwood Town Hall late Monday afternoon.
The door to the store was smashed, and broken glass was visible on the floor of the store while multiple OPP officers were on scene.
No OPP officers on the scene would provide a comment to CollingwoodToday.
Inquiries sent to Collingwood OPP's media officers were not immediately returned.
