South Simcoe Police Service officers are releasing security camera images of a sex assault suspect and are appealing for the public's help to identify him.
On Monday, June 24, 2019 at approximately 4 p.m., a teenage girl was walking on a public path behind the Bradford West Gwillimbury water tower on Noble Drive. An unknown male approached her from behind and inappropriately touched her. The victim continued walking on the pathway between Noble Drive and Roughley Street and the same male approached her a second time and touched her again. The victim turned and confronted the suspect and called 9-1-1. The suspect fled the area. The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.
The suspect is described as:
• Male
• Approximately 12-15 years old
• 5'4"
• Medium build
• Light brown complexion
• Dark hair
• Glasses - most likely sunglasses
• Wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes with distinctive white bordering on soles
