INNISFIL - South Simcoe Police Service is investigating a fatal collision in Innisfil.
A passerby called police around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 to report a collision between a waste disposal truck and another vehicle on 10th Sideroad between 5th and 6th Lines.
One driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was uninjured.
Traffic reconstruction officers are at the scene. It appears one vehicle was travelling northbound and the other vehicle was travelling southbound when the collision occurred.
The cause of the collision is not known at this time.
Officers are in the process of notifying next of kin. Further details will be released when they become available.
