City police have released these surveillance images of a suspect wanted in connection to a locker theft at a local community centre.

City police have released surveillance images of a man suspected of theft from a north-end community centre and a subsequent fraud not far away.

Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday that the incidents occurred late afternoon on Tuesday, Aug. 29 when the suspect entered the women’s change room at the East Bayfield Community Centre and broke into a secured locker.

Police say the man stole items, including car keys, which allowed him to steal the victim’s vehicle. He then used a stolen credit card at a gas station on Bayfield Street.
