The large-scale search for missing Bradford teen Siem Zerezghi continues today with Innisfil Fire, Georgian Bay Search and Resuce and members of the community jumping in to assist South Simcoe police.
On Wednesday, police officers and the rescue team covered two and a half square kilometres of on-ground searching and the canine unit travelled more than 35 kilometres.
Zerezghi was last seen around 11:30 p.m., Friday, Oct. 23, by his father near the family's home in the Professor Day Drive and Northgate Drive area.
He is described as between five-foot-eight and five-foot-11 and was wearing a blue windbreaker and blue Nike slide sandals with socks.
Police are asking residents to check their sheds and backyards to look for any signs of someone residing in an abandoned building.
Officers are also poring over hours of video footage from Friday night from neighbours with surveillance cameras, looking for any leads and tips as to where Zerezghi may have gone.
Anyone who has any information on Zerezghi's whereabouts is asked to contact police.
If you would like to provide anonymous info contact Det. Const. Adam Walther at 905-775-3311, ext. 1035, or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
