Sunday afternoon crash on Dunlop West sends pair to hospital

Two people were taken to local hospital following crash as vehicles were leaving Highway 400; police seeking witnesses

A three-wheeled motorcycle is all put demolished following a crash on Dunlop St. W and the Highway 400 southbound exit.

Barrie police are looking for witnesses following a crash on Dunlop Street West, Sunday afternoon. 

The collision, involving a three-wheeled motorcycle (trike) and a motor vehicle took place around 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 as they exited from southbound Highway 400 onto Dunlop Street West.

Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon told BarrieToday the operators of both the car and the three-wheeler were taken to hospital by paramedics, however the nature of injury sustained by either driver was unknown.

Police are asking anyone who may have dash-cam video of the collision, or who may have witnessed the incident, to email [email protected].

No additional information is available at this time, including whether any charges were laid against either drivers.
