City police have released new images of a suspect after a man and his dog were stabbed in downtown Barrie in August.
Around 10 p.m. on Aug. 6, police responded to the area of Dunlop and Owen streets.
Police have said a man was walking his dog when he became involved in an argument with an unknown man who stabbed him and the dog.
The dog was treated for an injury, while the male victim was transported to a local hospital where he received treatment for a stab wound.
On Tuesday, police said the suspect had a circular tattoo on the inside of his left arm.
The suspect has been described as a Black male who was wearing a grey hoodie, dark shorts and running shoes. He was last seen running southbound on Owen Street.
