A part of Tiffin Street in Barrie remains closed after a pickup truck fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Fire crews responded to the call around 5:30 p.m. and found a pickup truck engulfed in flames near the intersection of Tiffin Street and Dunlop Street West, in the city’s west end.
There were no injuries reported.
The Tiffin Street closure was still in place as of 6:40 p.m. as environmental services deal with the runoff of fuel and firefighting agents, according to Deputy Fire Chief Eric MacFadden.
