A Toronto resident is facing impaired driving charges after being pulled over Monday night in Springwater Township.
Huronia West OPP says an officer was patrolling the area of Mayer Road at around 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 6 when they were alerted to a speeding motorist.
The officer believed the driver showed signs of impairment.
Ioan Stratan, 25, has been charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired (alcohol and drugs) and operation of a motor vehicle while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80 plus).
None of the allegations have been tested in court.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
