A Brampton resident, who was driving a fully loaded transport truck, faces impaired charges following a traffic stop Wednesday night on George Johnston Road in Springwater Township, west of Barrie.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., Sept. 21, Huronia West OPP officers stopped the vehicle and noted possible signs of impairment.
Parvinder Hayer, 37, of Brampton, has been charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, and peration while impaired - blood-alcohol content above 80.
The driver was given a 90-day driver's licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for a period of seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood, on Oct. 25, 2022.
