Barrie fire crews battled a vehicle blaze in the parking lot of the Kozlov Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the call at the mall at about 12:40 p.m. on Dec. 28.
No injuries were reported in the blaze.
“I was shopping in Urban Planet, and when I noticed everyone looking out the window, I ran to see what was going on,” Fallon Mariano, who had parked his vehicle in the area of the fire before it broke out, told BarrieToday.
“Once I noticed the fire and how close my (vehicle) was, I dropped my things and ran outside to move it away. It was at this moment I realized the fire was very large and popping. I stayed far enough away to watch the whole thing.”
