Classic rock fans, you won’t want to miss a thing as AEROFORCE, Canada's premier Aerosmith tribute band, takes the stage at the Ferndale Banquet Hall in Barrie on September 5.
Led by "Tyler" Bob Gregory and Paul Gayne, AEROFORCE has been delivering an authentic and entertaining experience for over two decades, faithfully reproducing the look, swagger, and sound of the musical icons.
Aerosmith burst onto the music scene in 1973 with its self-titled debut, later cementing itself in rock history with multi-platinum albums like Pump, Get a Grip, and Nine Lives.
Performing some of the most recognizable songs from those albums – fans will recognize and rock to "Dream On," "Walk This Way," and "Sweet Emotion" – AEROFORCE will reproduce the look, sound, and feel of the rock legends in concert.
And the band comes with some pretty high accolades – their winged stage set and colourful costuming, along with their energy and attitude, prompted Aerosmith's Steven Tyler to refer to AEROFORCE as "those cool guys from Canada."
This special event is proudly presented by the Kiwanis Club of Barrie, an organization built around community-minded individuals dedicated to supporting various local initiatives. The club focuses on programs that enhance the quality of life for children and their families in Barrie and the surrounding area.
The Kiwanis Club of Barrie is involved in numerous community projects, including the Barrie Music Festival, Youth Haven, scholarships for the 12 Barrie & Area High Schools, and preparing sandwiches for the Busby Centre. They also provide funding to Samaritan House, The Barrie Food Bank, and The Barrie Women & Children’s Shelter. Additionally, the club supports the Kiwanis Worldwide Service Project, Eliminate Maternal Neonatal Tetanus, in partnership with UNICEF.
