Now that November is here, it’s time to turn your thoughts towards some holiday shopping. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could buy presents for your loved ones locally, support small businesses, AND support an important local cause, at the same time?

Well, now you can! Events by Morey Made presents the Snowy Seasons Market, at the Barrie Free Methodist Church. Admission to the market? A non-perishable or cash donation to the Barrie Free Methodist Church Breakfast Program.

“The Snowy Seasons Market on November 16 features over 40 talented and creative vendors, with something for everyone,” explained Paulette Morey, founder of Events by Morey Made. “A partial list of vendors includes A Paper Party, Kristina's Country Bathbombs, Simcoe Stitchery, Tree60 Handcrafted Designs, Aromatic Essentials, Luv 21 Apparel Barrie, The Measuring Spoon, Drizzled by Adrienne, and Bubblesbyjulie.”

In addition to the above vendors, shoppers can check out incredible and unique items from Tree Candy Wood, Debbie Knitted Hats, Citrine Queen Art, Lonewolfs crafts, Butterfly Dreams, and many more vendors of handmade items, food stuffs and more.

Vendors are always thrilled to take part in one of Morey’s markets. "We absolutely adore Paulette's events! She masterfully crafts a fun and welcoming space for everyone. We especially love how she engages guests with exciting activities like scavenger hunts, story times, and themed photo sessions,” said Primerica’s Devon and Kirk Wallace.

As with all of Morey’s markets, there will be lots of fun activities for the kids at this event, including balloon animals and face painting, and delicious food and drink items to enjoy. “We are also having a silent auction at the market, and proceeds will go towards the breakfast program as well. This market will definitely make your snowy season a magical one!” said Morey.

Morey continued, “Hosting events is my way of supporting small businesses and giving back to the community that’s given so much to me. By creating affordable, accessible events, I’m able to help local entrepreneurs and artisans showcase their work and connect with other like-minded individuals—creating fantastic networking opportunities for everyone involved. Recently, I’ve expanded to partner with organizations beyond Barrie Families Unite, helping them raise funds for meaningful projects and seeing how collaboration can strengthen our whole community.”

She completed, “With a degree in Community Studies, I’ve finally found a way to put my passion for networking and project management to use, bringing people together and fostering growth, connection, and opportunity."

Snowy Seasons Market will take place on Saturday November 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Barrie Free Methodist Church at 248 Cundles Road East, Barrie.
