A beach advisory posted earlier this week at Minet's Point Park has been lifted.
The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit issued the advisory on Tuesday after high bacteria levels were discovered during routine testing at the south-end park. The advisory was later rescinded after a follow-up inspection.
All five Barrie beaches are currently open and considered safe for swimming, including Minet's Point, Centennial, Johnson's, Tyndale and Wilkins.
Elsewhere around Simcoe County, however, advisories are currently posted at Leonard's Beach in Innisfil, Pete Pettersen Park in Midland, and Mackenzie Park in Tay Township's Victoria Harbour.
During a swimming advisory, the beach is posted with warning signs that the most recent water samples showed bacteria in numbers that may increase your risk of developing minor skin, eye, ear, nose or throat infections or stomach illness. If you choose to swim during a swimming advisory avoid dunking your head or swallowing the water.
According to Environment Canada, temperatures on Saturday are expected to reach the low to mid 30's, with humidex values of 40 or higher.
