Just under one week since a similar closure was put in place, there will be another emergency road closure on Anne Street tonight near the bridge over Highway 400.
Yorkton Contracting, which is working for the City of Barrie, requires a full road closure on Anne Street North between Donald Street/Wellington Street West and Dunlop Street West tentatively from 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16 until 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
The city says the closure is needed to repair underground sewer infrastructure.
Residents and emergency services will have access within the closure, but won't be able to travel through.
Detour route in effect: Anne Street North – Dunlop Street West – Eccles Street North – Wellington Street West / Donald Street – Anne Street North.
