An annual event held in honour of a young child who passed away five years ago continues to aid the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation.
Mike and Melissa Robinson and family recently visited the foundation to deliver the $10,100 proceeds from Celia’s Bake Sale. The funds will be used to purchase a vital signs monitor for the GBGH emergency department.
Since 2020, Celia’s Bake Sale has raised $38,350 in honour of the Robinson’s daughter Celia Marie, who passed away at the hospital on Christmas Day 2019.
The foundation thanks local businesses who collected and encouraged donation to the Celia’s Bake Sale: Boulangers Midland City Bakers, Cafe Kittyhawk, Royal Tea on King, Shana's Baked Goods, Pier 21, World Famous Dock Lunch and The Captain’s Cafe at GBGH.
