NEWS RELEASE
BARRIE ANXIETY CLINIC
*************************
Barrie Anxiety Clinic will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce on Dec. 9 at 4 p.m.
We are delighted to celebrate with chamber representatives, community leaders, and an open house of Barrie Anxiety Clinic [located at 5 Quarry Ridge Rd., Unit 308] to immediately follow.
Barrie Anxiety Clinic is a family mental health centre for children, teenagers, adults, and families of Simcoe County and its neighbours. We provide psycho-education, treatment, and consultations for all types of anxiety and other biopsychosocial issues that may cause or accompany anxiety.
We strongly believe in preventative and early intervention and have a practical, skill-building approach to treatment. We are trauma, adversity, culturally, and LGBTQ+ informed and have an individualized approach to every client.
We help infants/toddlers and their parents, children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. For safer and faster therapeutic outcomes and with accessibility in mind, aside from the traditional therapeutic approaches, we use evidence-based virtual reality technology for the treatment of anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress, as well as behavioural and stress-related challenges in children and adults.
Barrie Anxiety Clinic is founded and led by Yuliya Levina Burak, a psychotherapist, educator, and child and youth advocate. Yuliya has been in practice since 2013. For more information about Barrie Anxiety Clinic or to schedule an appointment, visit www.barrieanxietyclinic.com.
