Barrie Fire rocks Bryan Adams tune

Canadian star's 'people' gave fire service approval to use hit

She's a firefighter by day but with a singing voice like Judith Myddelton's, even Bryan Adams would be impressed.

Myddelton belted out the fire prevention, karaoke version of Adams' hit Everything I Do as cameras rolled Saturday night at Rooster's Bar and Grill.

The creative minds at Barrie Fire Prevention were recording their seventh safety music video, this one for Valentine's Day.

Universal Music initially gave the fire service permission on Adams' behalf to parody the song but legendary producer and co-writer Mutt Lange nixed the idea.

Firefighters learned they would not be infringing copyright if the song was done with karaoke.
