Council will then consider final approval for motions passed at its Oct. 9 general committee meeting.

This includes a motion that a budget of as much as $125,000 be approved for the community safety and well-being advisory committee to hire a consultant to review and consider any revisions to the city’s community safety and well-being plan.

Council will also consider approving pedestrian crossovers on the west legs of Blake and Huron streets, and Blake and Rodney streets, in the 2025 capital plan, budgeted at $150,000 each and funded 60 per cent from development charges reserves and 40 per cent from the tax capital reserve.
