The City of Barrie has partnered with Collège Boréal to host the annual Spring Job Fair on Wednesday, April 17 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Southshore Centre, located at 205 Lakeshore Dr.
Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes to have the chance to:
- Meet with employers who are actively hiring.
- Discover on the spot hiring opportunities.
- Explore a diverse range of job openings, including seasonal and summer positions.
- Learn about companies and job openings.
At the event, individuals can connect with employment coaches from various employment service providers who can offer expert guidance, personalized assistance and advice.
“This job fair is an excellent opportunity for job seekers to network with potential employers and learn about the various career opportunities available in the Barrie area,” commented Stephannie Schlichter, director of economic and creative development. “Whether you are actively seeking employment or exploring a new career path, this event is open to everyone and can be a valuable resource.”
