The Downtown Barrie BIA has announced its unofficial board of directors for the 2023-26 term.
The members are Chris Gerrard (The Queens Hotel), Steve Ricalis (Donaleighs Irish Pub), Heather Kennedy (Shop Blueberry Moon), Chantal Martin (Nook Yoga), Alison Oakes (Oh Beehive), Christina Mancuso (MacLaren Art Centre/nominee of the Wired Owl Shop), and Jaclyn Stergiadis (Bohemia).
The slate was officially acclaimed at the closing of the nomination period on Friday, Oct. 14 as the BIA says it had seven nomination applications submitted.
The group is expected to officially the next board of directors at the BIA's next scheduled meeting, as well as approval from the next city council following the Oct. 24 municipal election.
