On the 21st of May 2016 at approximately 00:30hrs Barrie Police were doing routine patrol when a vehicle was noticed driving erratically down Bradford street.
The vehicle was pulled over and during a routine investigation a strong smell of alcohol omitted from the male driver.
The driver was arrested for impaired driving and was transported to the Barrie Police service for further testing.
As a result it was determined that the male blew twice the legal limit of alcohol. The male was later released on a promise to appear.
