The annual Family Fun Night presented by Essa Public Library, Township of Essa, and CONTACT Community Services is a free event for local residents to celebrate the summer during an evening of various fun outdoor activities, including the popular “Touch-A-Truck” experience.
WHO: Families and community members of Essa Township, Essa Public Library staff, Essa Public Library board of directors.
WHAT: Family-friendly activities include giant games, inflatables, and farm animals. “Touch-A-Truck” experience will include a fire truck, military vehicles, race car, Paint-a-Bus, and more. Free refreshments will be offered by Starbucks, Angus. Water and freezies will also be provided while supplies last.
This event is completely free; cash donations are appreciated, 100 per cent of which will support Essa Public Library. The Angus Food Bank will also be accepting food donations during the event. Last year’s event welcomed approximately 600 people.
WHERE: Essa Public Library Angus branch parking lot (8505 County Rd. 10, Angus).
WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
