Forty exchange students from Japan were served up leadership tips during a recent visit to Barrie.
The all-female contingent and its young hosts gathered in the gym at Holly Meadows Elementary School to listen to several speakers talk about life, stress, success and goals.
Barrie Police Const. Nicole Rodgers was among the speakers who addressed the group.
A Japanese interpreter was on hand to translate the words of wisdom.
The students are in Barrie for a week.
