On Sunday, January 24, 2016, an elderly Sandy Cove man called police to report his car stolen.
The man told the officer that a set of keys has been lost, and an ad placed on the local Sandy Cove TV channel for their return.
They got a call from a woman who found the keys and was willing to drop them off.
They couple were grateful, but did not get the woman's name or any other information other than the fact that she drove a black car.
A few hours later, they looked out and the car was gone.
The stolen vehicle is a 2007 Buick Allure, grey with licence plate ARML984.
Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call South Simcoe Police or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
