An Evening with Hawkins Johnston and Friends takes place Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at historic Oro Medonte Community Hall.
“It is hard to believe that it has been almost five years since I performed a solo concert,” Johnston said. “In the meantime, I have been playing with other people and written more songs.
“This evening is about performing my original songs written over the last two decades,” he said. “I have invited some friends to help me put on a show for you.”
All proceeds will be donated to Hospice Simcoe in Barrie and The Sharing Place Food Centre in Orillia.
Admission is $20, payable at the door. Kids are free.
Oro Medonte Community Hall is located at 31 Ridge Rd. E., in Oro-Medonte Township.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert is 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
