HMV Canada is closing all 102 of its stores, reports the Financial Post.
HMV.ca has confirmed the news with the statement that all merchandise in the stores is currently 30 per cent off regular ticketed prices.
The ailing company, was put into receivership in Ontario Superior Court Friday and was unable to find mutually agreeable terms to pay off it's suppliers and stay in business, says the Post.
Stores will remain open for the next few weeks to liquidate merchandise but most head-office staffers have already been laid off.
