Innisfil is working to keep the community moving, connected and motivated by launching Active Innisfil’s YouTube channel. The Town’s Leisure Services department is committed to providing free online recreation program classes for individuals and the whole family, beginning today, April 8, 2020.

Residents can access this free content by visiting the Active Innisfil YouTube channel at www.innisfil.ca/StayActive.

Once online, you will be able to view playlists of programming that will include: Preschool Children & Youth Fitness General Interest 55+ Instructors will be sending along content on an ongoing basis, and so we will continue to develop the playlists.

“It’s so important mentally and physically to keep our bodies moving. As we are unable to venture out to a yoga program, or to our favourite art class, this is the perfect way to stay active and to have a ton of fun doing it” said Innisfil Mayor, Lynn Dollin. “With such a break in the normal routine for so many families, it is so wonderful to be able to provide something that can be accessed right in your own home."

Residents are encouraged to register and subscribe to the Active Innisfil channel to receive regular updates, but are not required to do so. More information can be found at Innisfil.ca/activeinnisfil or Innisfil.ca/StayActive
