Some traffic delays can be expected on Bayfield Street on Thursday and Friday.
North Rock Group, and its sub-contractors working for the City of Barrie, requires the full closure of the southbound "channelized" right-turn lane on Bayfield Street at Cundles Road West on both days.
The work is expected to take place from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19 and Friday, Oct. 20, 2023.
The city says the closure is required to complete construction work associated with the Cundles Road watermain lining and resurfacing.
The work is also subject to weather conditions.
A paid-duty officer will be on-site and no detours are in effect.
