TORONTO - While his wife, Leona Freeman, cheered him on, Neil Freeman of Barrie took a spin on the Big Spin Wheel at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to win $350,000! The couple won a top prize with OLG’s The Big Spin Instant game (#2097).

“We normally play Lotto 6/49, Ontario 49 and Lotto Max,” shared Neil, a paramedic. “But I bought a Big Spin ticket this time because I had played it a few weeks prior and had won $1,000.”

A couple days later, Leona, a custodian, scratched their ticket at home. “Later, while I took the ticket to the store to check it, Leona went next door to get us some drinks,” recalled Neil. “When I saw that we won a ‘Big Spin,’ a few choice words came out of my mouth!” he laughed.

Neil texted his wife of 10 years to come back to the store immediately. “When I got there, Neil was on the phone with OLG and they were telling us that we won the chance to spin the Big Spin Wheel to win a grand prize! We were excited but nervous too.”

The parents of two daughters plan to purchase a new car and do some renovations on their home. “We’ll also help our daughter pay for school and share this win with our grandchildren,” concluded Leona.

  2. Watch – If the prize won is 'spin', visit any OLG retail location to validate the ticket and watch the animated wheel spin on the lottery terminal screen. Every “spin” is a guaranteed win! SPIN prizes range from $10 to $10,000 or a big spin.
  3. Spin – If the animated wheel stops on “big spin,” the prize won is an actual spin on the Big Spin Wheel at the OLG Prize Centre for a guaranteed prize of $100,000 to $500,000!
