TORONTO – Junior Thomas of Barrie is $250,000 richer after winning the top prize with Instant Merry & Bright (Game #2274).

Junior, who works in facilities management, says he played his ticket and thought he won $250 when he noticed he had a matching number. "I took a closer look and realized it was actually $250,000! I didn't know how to react. It didn't feel real," he said.
Junior shared the news with his fiancé right away. "She was in as much disbelief as me," he said. "This is amazing."
Junior plans to pay some bills, take his family on vacation, and put some of his win aside.
"I never expected something like this, but it happens!" he concluded.
