UPDATE: A 19-year-old Barrie woman has been arrested and charged with Theft Under $5,000. She will appear in a Barrie Court of Justice in September.

The Barrie Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect following a theft which occurred at Pizza Pizza located at 59 High St., in the City of Barrie.

On Monday, July 30, 2018, a customer inadvertently left their wallet on the counter after leaving the store.

When the customer returned to retrieve his wallet, he observed all the money had been removed.

A further investigation provided police with video surveillance, which captured a woman removing items from the wallet and placing it back on the counter.

The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as:

  • Female, white (20 to 25 years)
  • Medium build, 5’6”
  • Brown hair - long
  • Wearing a green shirt, black pants and flip flops
