Niagara divers celebrate Halloween with underwater pumpkin carving

80-plus-pound pumpkin settled to the bottom, on top of the wreck in Welland Scuba Park

Niagara Divers Association (NDA) held their annual pumpkin-carving event Sunday at the Welland Scuba Park.

For the first time, a large, 80-plus-pound pumpkin was settled to the bottom, on top of the wreck in the underwater park. Four divers carved on the sides of this pumpkin.

Other divers also carved their own pumpkins during the event. This year's event honoured fellow diver, Jimmy Lockard, who recently died.
