Barrie’s current and future leaders were honoured today at our inaugeral Community Builders Awards.
“Today is about celebrating people and organizations that are making a difference,” said John Hammill, BarrieToday’s director of advertising and regional publisher. “It’s just a way for us to give back to the community and to say how much we appreciate everything that they’re doing.”
The Community Builder Awards, an initiative launched by fellow Village Media site Sudbury.com, is just one example of the community initiatives being hosted by BarrieToday in an effort to celebrate the great things that are happening in and around the city, he added.
