A school supply drive in Barrie has surpassed expectations, organizers say.
Allandale Home Hardware Building Centre has completed this year’s initiative, which saw 100 backpacks filled with essential school supplies donated to PIE Education.
“This initiative was met with overwhelming community support, allowing the store to significantly surpass its original goal,” the company stated in a release. “The backpacks, fully stocked with necessary supplies, were able to help local students start the school year on the right foot.”
