A section of Hurst Drive in Barrie's south end will be closed for almost three months for a construction project.
The closure, from Little Avenue to Minet's Point Road, will be in effect from Aug. 24 until Nov. 13, according to the city.
The work includes resurfacing from Minet's Point Road to Bay Lane, as well as the addition of multi-use trail and designated bicycle lanes.
Hurst Drive will be closed to through traffic, but local traffic, buses, emergency vehicles and garbage collection trucks will be allowed through the project site.
