Deena Brooks died on Friday, May 24, 2013 in the front foyer of her family home as a result of a gunshot wound to her chest.
As of that date, she had been married to her husband Mitchell for about 23 years.
These are just two of the uncontested details at the first-degree murder trial of Mitchell Brooks in Barrie.
They are among approximately 100 additional pieces of information listed in an Agreed Statement of Facts entered last week as a court exhibit at Brooks' trial.
The document, signed by the Crown and Defence, outlines details accepted by both sides in the criminal case.
The couple had two daughters: Kristen, 17 and Cayley, 21, their ages at the time of their mother's death.
The Brooks family had lived in their Clearview Township home for approximately 21 years.
But according to the 9-page court document, the union was over for Deena.
The document put before the jury states that during Easter weekend - less than a month before she died - Deena had told Mitchell that she wanted to end the marriage.
From around that weekend until Deena's death, the document says the couple continued to live in the family home but in separate bedrooms.
Deena remained in the main floor master and Mitchell moved to the bedroom in the upstairs loft.
The court document also lists the agreed facts of Deena Brooks' final movements on the day she died.
It says she left the family home in the morning to go to work at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie where she was a lab technician.
She left work early in the afternoon to meet daughter Kristen and Mitchell at the Barrie waterfront to take prom photos.
Kristen's high school prom was that night and that's where the teen was when her mother died.
In fact, according to the document, Kristen had sent a text to her mother at 7:37 p.m. asking to be picked up early.
The document then states that at 8:46 p.m. Mitchell Brooks called 911 - a call that has been played for the jury.
In the recording, Brooks tells the call-taker that his wife has been shot in the chest.
The call-taker asks who shot her.
"We were fighting over it," Mitchell said referring to the gun, which was found lying on the foyer floor.
The fact that Brooks placed a 911 call is in the Agreed Statement of Facts but not the details of the call.
Other undisputed facts outlined in the court exhibit include that the couple's older daughter Cayley was in Europe competing in a bicycle race when her mother died.
The fact that Deena was formally pronounced dead at 9:39 p.m. on May 24, 2013.
The jury has heard from police witnesses about their search of the home and Mitchell Brooks' workshop, where four more handguns were found.
All that is also outlined in the Agreed Statement of Facts.
The court exhibit says that three sets of life insurance documents in Mitchell Brooks' name were found in the main floor office, a living room cabinet and on his bed.
A Will was also found on his bed during the police search.
Documents found by police that belonged to Deena Brooks included life insurance papers in her name and documents from a law firm.
Mitchell Brooks has pleaded not guilty to the first-degree murder of Deena Brooks.
The charge of first-degree murder indicates it is the Crown's position that Deena's killing was intentional.
The trial before Justice Guy Di Tomaso is expected to hear testimony from a Blood Stain Pattern Analyst today.
