This Friday afternoon, the community is invited to join together in the annual Walk for Justice in Barrie's downtown core organized by Simcoe County Kairos, a local peace and justice movement.

This year, the walk takes place utilizing a Labyrinth (a gently winding path) that will be laid out under the canopy of Meridian Place in downtown Barrie, where folks can mindfully walk in a meditative, reflective and/or prayerful way to help raise the level of consciousness and awareness.

The event runs from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and people are welcome to arrive during that time frame to walk at their own pace, and then visit tables staffed by various community organizations to learn more about the peace and justice work they are engaged in locally.

Soup and a bun will be served to all participants for as long as supply lasts. Please bring a mug.

For more information, please contact kairos.simcoecounty@gmail.com.
