National wellness coach Alisa Herriman will be the special local guest speaker at the upcoming Leadercast Live event being hosted at Lakeahead University later this month.

An inspiring leadership event, featuring an international flavour, is coming to Orillia - virtually.

Broadcast live from Atlanta to hundreds of locations around the world each year, Leadercast Live “brings together some of the most recognized and respected global leaders to create a leadership experience unlike any other.”

It’s billed as the biggest one-day leadership conference in the world.

This year’s event will bring together attendees in Orillia and more than 700 locations around the globe.

The goal of the event is to inspire those in attendance “to develop their leadership skills and master the art and science of developing and leading healthy teams.”

The speakers will provide practical guidance on how to enhance your leadership, both for yourself and your team.

“All will be speaking to inform, inspire and equip you to lead healthy teams and provide you with the tools and resources for leadership so you can bring more success to your organization,” said a media release.

This year’s theme, Leading Healthy Teams, builds on the overall mission of the event: to fill the world with leaders worth following.

Healthy teams yield fulfilled employees, effective collaboration, high organizational engagement and greater long-term success.

This year's speaker lineup includes:

  • Gayle King, Co-Host, CBS This Morning and Editor-at-Large, O, the Oprah Magazine
