With the new school year just a few days away, the Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium is offering one last chance for first-time school bus riders to learn about bus safety and go for a ride.

The First Rider Program is a school bus safety program for the youngest riders, teaching safety rules, responsibilities of riding a bus and allowing children a chance to ride the bus before the first day of school.

The last session is tonight,  Aug. 31 at Terry Fox Elementary School at 6 p.m.

For more information about the program, visit simcoecountyschoolbus.ca and click on the safety tab, or call Sean Levasseur at 705-733-8965 ext. 104.
