Barrie Wrestling’s first-ever mystery show happens Saturday, Oct. 5 with an eight-match card, and only one announced with participants.

Building a Mystery Show starts at 5 p.m. at 49 Ferris Lane in the city’s north end.

Front row has been sold out for weeks but limited second-row and general-admission tickets are still available.

While there have been teases, Barrie Wrestling has confirmed that some mystery talent will be debuting for the promotion and will be known by wrestling fans as being seen on TV.

Fan favourite Pretty Ricky, the hated Stratos Fear and the debuting Psycho Mike will wrestle in a Mystery Rules triple-threat match. Word is, the stipulations are a first in at least Canada, possibly North America.

A Rock 95 Rumble match will happen with mystery wrestlers being announced as the timer counts down and one wrestler standing tall when all the others have been thrown over the top rope.

The Royal Family (Barrie Wrestling Women’s Champion Queen Shilo, the  the 400 North tag team champions Grizzly Mack and Anthony Musso and “King” Wavemaker Kyle Boone) will be in attendance.

A tornado tag team match will see all four participants allowed to be in the ring at the same time, creating a wild possibility of chaos in the old-school-style match.

As always, Domino’s Pizza, pop and chips will be available for purchase, as will Barrie Wrestling merchandise and that of the wrestlers.

As are all Barrie Wrestling shows, Saturday will be filmed for international streaming service IWTV and for Rogers TV Barrie.

With front row sold out, second-row reserved tickets ($25) and general-admission seats ($20) are available by contacting Barrie Wrestling on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and email ([email protected]).

General-admission tickets ($20) can also be purchased at OMG Games and Doug Laurie Sports and Auctions.

Saturday’s event will be the last one before the Nov. 2 BIG Barrie Wrestling 10-Year Anniversary show. Front row is already sold out for that event.

Some shows and matches can be found on the YouTube channel, as can the promotion’s new weekly YouTube series, Rush Hour.
