Barrie Wrestling prepares for TV closeup this weekend on Rogers

Three championship belts will be on the line Saturday during Back 2 School 10 event

Barrie Wrestling will host its Back 2 School 10 event this weekend.

Barrie Wrestling’s fall season begins this Saturday, Sept. 7 as the promotion’s Back 2 School 10 hits 49 Ferris Lane and is the first to be filmed for Rogers TV.

The annual event starts at 5 p.m. and will see seven bouts, which will include three with championships on the line.

Front row is sold out, but second-row and general-admission tickets are still available.

Barrie Wrestling heavyweight champion Clutch Jessie V defends the title in a fatal four-way against Tarik, Electrico and the Australian bad boy, Clyde Cain.

Barrie Wrestling Women’s Champion Shilo will give the debuting Wanda Delrey a shot at her title.

Three Pistols champion and hometown hero Van Landon defends against former champion, and longest reigning champ, Myung Jae Lee.

Crowd favourite Pretty Ricky will team with 400 North Tag Team Champions, Anthony Musso and Grizzly Mack to face off with the team of Ahmed, Abu and Matty Z.

Rounding out the card is Mark Wheler versus Stratos Fear, Rajan Husher clashes with TekkItEasyyJoey and Kyle Boone takes on Ali Ali.

Fans in attendance will get first crack at tickets for the Oct. 5 Mystery Show, as well as the massive 10-year anniversary event Nov. 2. 

As always, Domino’s Pizza, pop and chips will be available for purchase, as will Barrie Wrestling merchandise and that of the wrestlers.

As are all Barrie Wrestling shows, Saturday will be filmed for international streaming service, IWTV.
