BRADFORD - On Tuesday, June 13, 2017, a South Simcoe Police Service Detective received a complaint from a 14-year-old Bradford girl.
She told the officer that on Monday evening, a family friend was at her home doing renovations. The man sexually assaulted the girl, who reported the event to police the next day.
A 45-year-old Ajax man turned himself in upon request. He has been held in custody for a bail hearing, charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Forcible Confinement.
In order to protect the victim's identity no further information will be released.
